Technical Sales Representative – Western Australia
This role represents our first dedicated, on-the-ground hire in the region. As such, it will play a central role in driving business activity, supporting customers, and establishing our long-term footprint locally.
We are looking for someone who combines strong commercial instincts with hands-on technical capability. This is a hybrid role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and is comfortable moving between customer engagement and practical equipment support.

Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong customer relationships across the region
Identify, develop, and convert new sales opportunities
Prepare quotations and support the end-to-end sales process
Conduct pre-delivery inspections, setup, and preparation of rental equipment
Perform post-hire inspections, testing, and condition reporting
Coordinate equipment readiness and support field operations as required
Act as the local technical and commercial point of contact for customers
Support demonstrations, training, and customer onboarding where required
About You
Previous experience working within the hydrographic industry (essential)
Proven ability to balance customer-facing sales activities with technical responsibilities
Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience working with NORBIT systems will be viewed favourably
Willingness to travel within Western Australia as required
